Ion Evo returns in a brand new form - a reinvention of our style and approach. We keep the raw energy of shamanic invocation featured in our first CD but add sophisticated composition and mixing techniques. Dru Kristel is still featured along with Creed du Chat's brilliant drum machine work. Several pieces are deeply influenced by jazz and fusion along with a couple of intense ambient spaces. If you love unpredictable music full of imagination, you need this CD! The modern shaman uses the new tools at his or her disposal to create new worlds, new realms of experience and creation. The drum set, the electric guitar, the synthesizer, the electric bass and the DJ mixing board all combine to create a new fusion heralding the coming of the Fifth World! Dru has over 30 years experience in both the world of music and the shadow worlds of the shamen. In addition to painting, sculpting and designing gardens, Dru works with a small group in New Mexico. A lifetime member of the Buffalo Skull Society and an elected member of the Order of the Eagle Feather, Dru spends most of his time in the garden.
